To help you and your partner feel well prepared for the coming months and the birth of your baby, midwifery practices in and around Eindhoven offer information evenings about pregnancy, childbirth and the postnatal period.
Being well prepared can give you peace of mind and confidence. During these evenings, we provide practical information and there is plenty of opportunity to ask questions and discuss any concerns you may have.
These evenings are open to everyone, regardless of whether you are under the care of a midwife or a gynaecologist.
Location: Dorpshuis D’n Bond, Rapportstraat 29, 5504 BN Veldhoven
Time: 7:30–9:30 PM
Please arrive by 7:15 PM so we can start on time.
Cost: €25 per couple, per evening, including one drink.
Information evening ‘Childbirth’
- Midwife – When should you call your midwife? And what happens if things don’t go as planned?
- Midwife – The pushing stage, different birthing positions and pain relief
- Pelvic floor specialist – Why a strong pelvic floor is important and what you can do about it
The cost is €25 per couple, per evening, including one drink.
Your registration is confirmed once payment has been received.
Information evening ‘Postpartum period’
- Maternity care – Caring for your baby during the first weeks
- Midwife – Your recovery after birth, how to cope mentally with all the changes, and contraception
- Lactation consultant – Breastfeeding and bottle feeding
The cost is €25 per couple, per evening, including one drink.
